CPR number and address
CPR is the central Danish citizen register. Each individual person is given a unique identification number - the so called CPR-number, a ten digit number that is widely used in everyday life. In order to obtain a CPR-number you will have to apply at the Citizen Service Center ( Borgerservicecentre). You must bring your residence permit and your passport. Besides, you must have a Danish private address. At the Citizen Service Center you fill out the required papers, and you will then receive the CPR-number by mail within appr. seven days.
